Hi, I am Amy Fischer.

One afternoon in 2002, my high school yearbook instructor handed me my first 35mm Minolta and gave me an assignment: pair up with a friend and embark on a portrait session. Ever since that day, all I've wanted to do is capture that one moment, that one sliver of time that will forever be frozen but not forgotten. It is the camera, after all, that helps us freeze time, and remember those precious moments that time has allowed to slip away.

I grew up in Sheridan, Montana, where the cows outnumber the people by a vast majority. Once I graduated high school, I attended Montana Tech and received my BS in Professional and Technical Communication. By 2010, I had started my "paid hobby" as a portrait photographer. But it wasn't until 2013 when I moved to Ely, Nevada, that my career in photography really took off. It was here, in the middle of the desert, that my portfolio grew...and grew and grew.

My love for photography can be seen in my work. I am passionate about it. When I am not working my day job as a bookkeeper, I try to fit in as many photo sessions as I can, even if they are just of my children. I hope you enjoy my work, and happy viewing!

Love,

Amy
